Our history

The history of foundation of Baltic Training Group® is connected with existence of our partner company, Training Centre “Solutions and Prospects” that was founded in 1996 and specialises in emotional leadership development programmes. Tremendous success of this company, as well as demand of their loyal customers in quality business education, resulted in foundation of Baltic Training Group in March 2000.

The company’s specialisation was determined, above all, by topical needs of modern business and new demands dictated by the market. Baltic Training Groupconcentrated all effort to create complex systematic solutions that enable companies to grow and develop in the conditions of rapidly changing economy.

With high-class trainers and professional consultants in our team, we possess a vast experience of providing successful solutions in the sphere of companies and personnel development. As early as in 2001 Baltic Training Group has conducted a number of successful long-term project and received a lot of positive feedback and appreciation from our customers.

The success of Baltic Training Group and our active development, as well as the fact that very soon after the company had been founded we became one of the leaders in our segment, are connected, among other factors, with following a well-chosen strategy and living up to our values and principles. From the first day of our existence, the “win-win” principle has always been core for our communication with customers and partners. Every employee in Baltic Training Group is well aware of the fact that the company can only win if all of its external and internal customers.

In 2002 we have experienced significant changes in our structure and organisation of our business, and finally formed our creative and perspective team of professionals that allows Baltic Training Group to achieve perfect results. One of our values being superexcellence, we are aimed at the best possible result and at perfection even in the tiniest details. Our customers always note our attention to their wishes and understanding of their needs. These values have become core for our company’s philosophy.

In 2004 our company initiated and organised HumanTech International Conference – the project that was unique for Ukrainian market, whose mission has always been to bring into local businesses new technologies, approaches and views in the spheres personnel and companies development. Baltic Training Group is a member of оthe CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) (United Kingdom), one of the most reputable and respected organisations in personnel development in the whole world. We often participate in the events conducted by this organisation, and after one of their conferences we decided to create a similar conference for Ukrainian businesses. The level of professionalism and topical character of this conference allowed 150 representatives of the Ukrainian business to get to know the most advanced approaches in managing personnel and companies, as well as to discuss the most complicated and complex issues connected with the realities of our business with speakers and during informal communication with each other.

In 2005, HumanTech project has reached a new level and improved in all ways. The names of our speakers, such as Bob McCall, Mark Burger, Jef Staes, Justin Cohen, and their reports stimulating companies’ growth and development, have become known to Ukrainian public and to the local media.

In 2005, Baltic Training Group has significantly broadened the range of complex solutions in the spheres of personnel and companies development. The Ukrainian business is becoming increasingly sophisticated, and top management begins realising that there are no trifles when it comes to managing a company. Reacting to the growing demand of business, we have created an interconnected and comprehensive system of solutions that allow our customers win again and again.

We began the 2006 year with introduction of R. Kaplan’s Balance Scorecards system, which allowed us to better comprehend both internal and external processes in our company. We have revised our processes of interacting with customers, and as a result of introduction of new procedures we gained priceless experience. Perhaps this is due to introduction of Balance Scorecards that we managed to fulfill our ambitious yearly plan by November 2006.

During 2006 – 2008 we were busy with systematizing processes and data in our company. Together with our customers and partners we introduced KPI and CRM into our organisation, therefore trying new ideas and methods ourselves before offering them to our clients.

In 2008 we continued conducting complex project and long-term learning programmes. Among our customers are Astelit, BSH, Winner Imports, Zaporozhtransformator plant and many others. Also in 2008 we were implementing into our company the “blue ocean” strategy (basing on the ideas of W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne). We worked on creating an innovative product – Corporate programme of emotional leadership development basing on both Western experience and our own research. Among our successful projects in 2008 are also implementations of previously created long-term programmes, such as “Academy of business-training” and “HR-School”, as well as the creation of a completely new project for systematic development of line managers – “Professional manager”.

Our team of professionals collected all resources to encounter the end of 2008, and we look into the future with optimism. We have developed a number of new tools and technologies, and are ready to offer them to the companies who accept the current period as the time for change to the better.

We constantly aim at development and improvement, and recognise the necessity to keep up to date with the demand of today’s market. This allows Baltic Training Group team to always come up with optimal solutions for our customers and contribute into your successful development.
